Julia Mukai is the Social Media manager and Motion Designer at The Yellow Tulip Project. She graduated from Pratt in 2025 with a degree in 2D animation and psychology, and is now working in Brooklyn. She says, “Seeing Julia Hansen speak at my high school made it clear that mental health needed to be discussed. It inspired me to think about how to make community change for myself and my friends.” Having been a YTP ambassador since early 2019, Mukai aims to use art and design to make a positive impact in the mental health community. Using social media to call change makers to action, she hopes to cultivate a resonant space for folks to learn about and discuss mental health.
