professional Volunteer story:

“Over the last two years, I have had the pleasure of working as a volunteer at Yellow Tulip to stand up some analytical capabilities. It gave me the opportunity to learn more about the cause, in addition to the impact that the organization has on the surrounding communities. During my time there, I worked with some incredible people who shared a lot of new perspectives. In the end, we were able to refine the survey strategy and build a Tableau dashboard that allows users to self-serve their data-related questions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to give back some time to a meaningful volunteer organization.”

board member story:

“In 2021 I lost my son Pierce Fulton to suicide. From that moment on I vowed to try to help people find help and support which I knew to be quite challenging. Our family was looking for a mental health organization to partner with and a friend introduced me to YTP. The simple mission of smashing the stigma surrounding mental health resonated and I happily joined the board after learning all about the tulip bulb meaning, hope gardens and youth engagement. The importance of raising awareness and eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health is more important today than ever before especially among young men. We are so excited to see where our walk continues to take us!”
