PCIS is Growing Hope, One Tulip at a Time!

The Yellow Tulip Project Club at PCIS (Plymouth Community Intermediate School) kicked off their annual March Tulip Tree event. A meaningful tradition rooted in community, compassion, and connection.

Throughout the month of March, tulip trees will be on display in each house, each one filled with opportunities to give back. Every tulip represents a needed item, and we invite our community to take part by selecting a tulip, purchasing the listed item, and placing it in one of the designated donation bins located throughout the school.

This year, all collected items will be donated to the adolescent unit at McLean Hospital in Middleborough, as well as a local homeless shelter in the Plymouth area. These donations will directly support individuals navigating mental health challenges and families in need within our broader community.

A special need this year: the shelter is currently seeking infant and children’s socks—a small item that can make a big difference.

The Tulip Tree is more than just a donation drive—it’s a visible reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can grow into something powerful. Together, we have the opportunity to support others, spark conversations, and continue spreading hope where it’s needed most.
