Help Plant a Hope Garden in Bedford on Oct. 28

phoTulips-2

The Bedford Youth & Family Services (YFS) Department is partnering with Emerson Hospital and the Yellow Tulip Project to plant a Hope Garden from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28 at the Town Center Building, 12 Mudge Way.

The Project’s mission is to eliminate the stigmas surrounding mental illness. Yellow tulips are a sign of hope and when communities come together, get their hands dirty planting a Hope Garden, and talk about mental illness, hope blooms.

Bedford YFS will be planting this Hope Garden with 100 tulip bulbs provided by Emerson and is seeking participation from community members who would like to help with the planting.

If interested in participating in this event, please sign up or just come by on the event date to say hi.
