IN PERSON: Suicide Prevention Training at Burr & Burton Academy, March 30th
On March 30, we have Deb Casello from Keys 365 coming to give a community-wide suicide prevention training at the school in the evening. The interactive training will focus on early intervention and participants will learn to recognize warning signs; ask directly about suicide and use supportive language; build empathy, confidence, and practical skills to help others; and learn how to connect with help and assistance.
