Are you interested in registering to bring together a small group of people - family, friends, co-workers – to discuss mental health and substance use disorders and its impact in our lives?

The prevalence of stigma is a known barrier to individuals seeking treatment for fear of being associated with negative stereotypes. One of the most powerful antidotes against stigma is conversation and connection. If we engage in more open dialogue, more people can seek help.

By hosting a community conversation, your role is to pick a place and time where you would like your guests to gather for a conversation. Gatherings can be anywhere, and from 60-90 minutes or so, and we recommend inviting somewhere between 5-12 people. Some people like to host conversation over a meal or coffee, but the details are up to you.
