We are guessing that you likely don’t know that October 10th is World Mental Health Day. Why would you really — most of us in polite society don’t talk about mental health too often.
But not only should we be — we have to. There are far too many people, and far too many kids and teens who are struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts — and other forms of mental illness — far too often. And dangerously, far too many suffer in silence.
We are part of a radical sea change that is about letting people know to never lose hope because there is always help out there. The Yellow Tulip Organization is a youth-led organization that is on the frontlines in the movement to smash this stigma.
Please think about donating ten dollars to this cause. If you can give more, please do. If ten is too much, give what you can. Just know that we stretch the heck out of every dollar we raise.
We would love if you could also invite 10 more friends to donate to our cause by going here.
We’ve made it easy for you, promise.
